Founded in 2014, Conteuse Agency merges the skills and talents of Beth Bacheldor and Amber Ukena. Both spent years in media and marketing in the high-tech and IT industries, hail from the Midwest, have lived in big cities (on opposite coasts), and eventually landed in North Carolina—Amber in the mountains and Beth at the beach. Nonetheless, it's their unique strengths that make them a terrific team.
Rarely has there been a project or problem I haven’t been able to wrangle, organize and elevate into opportunity. Within a few years of starting my marketing career, I became a VP and account director specializing in the tech sector and managing multi-billion-dollar, global campaigns. Later, I started my own agency that quickly grew to an eight-person firm with over a half-million in annual revenue, working with Intel, J.P. Morgan Chase, Walt Disney and others. Now with nearly 20 years of experience, I ply my skills creating and running collaborative content marketing programs. I’m able to link strategic goals to on-the-ground tactics, run top-to-bottom analyses to ensure campaign goals are met, and “never miss a detail” in program delivery.

As a tech journalist with more than 20 years' experience working for publications like CIO.com, InformationWeek, Government Computer News and RFID Journal, I was fortunate enough to document the ever-changing and transformative Information Age and IT’s rise as a fundamental business tool across industries. I've covered just about every technology: cloud, enterprise apps, telecommunications, open source, IoT and security.
